Sri Lanka Box Toolbar

Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffFebruary 15, 2008Despite its name, the Sri Lanka Box Toolbar throws in a bit of everything, making it just another entry in the crowded toolbar field.Sri Lanka Box Toolbar, like more toolbars being released nowadays, focuses on narrow user population those interested in Sri Lanka, but the interface is cluttered with the obligatory search field and a variety of buttons including a page-content highlighter, an Internet radio tuner for Sri Lankan stations, an e-mail notifier, a news headline scroll (with both English, Sinhala and Tamil headlines) and a Gadgets drop-down list of links to the New York Times crossword, a calorie counter, a sodoku puzzle, YouTube Top 10, and 16 other entertainments. This is another toolbar that has succumbed to trying to be a little bit of everything for every user.The toolbar performed well in our tests, responding quickly to clicked links by navigating to the selected sites. The search feature quickly returned appropriate results. Our only complaint is about the clutter of the toolbar itself. Otherwise, anyone interested in Sri Lankan culture and radio will find this Internet Explorer add-on very handy.
