While its gamplay is excellent for experienced fans, it leaves something to be desired for newcomers.We found Klondike Fever's interface surprisingly exciting. We imagined it would look and feel like a standard solitaire game, but its 3D layout and simple commands for customization left us quite impressed. The game uses the simple click-and-drag play method you may recognize from other card games. It's easy to use, but Klondike Forever is geared more toward those who already know the rules of the game, unfortunately. While it gives a brief description of how to play, we were left with only a vague understanding of the object and wished the program had provided a tutorial. However, for those familiar with the rules, there's a great selection of features. You can customize the game, too, from playing Relaxed Rules to adjusting the number of redeals and adjusting tableau piles. You can use them and a few other subtle touches to play an ideal game. Truly, the only thing missing from this game was a better setup for new players. Klondike fans will really enjoy it, though.Klondike Forever is a freeware program. It comes as a compressed file. While it's not the best entry point for new players, those with Klondike experience will love this game, and we recommend it.
