Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffApril 12, 2005This program helps users store and share favorite recipes. However, the interface is plain and the program lacks advanced features. The 23 preloaded recipes display alphabetically in the window's left pane, and preparation and ingredients display in a window on the right. Users can add their own recipes or edit the ingredients in a saved recipe, but strangely, the instructions can't be changed. The search feature lets users find recipes based on name, category, or author. Users also can create and save multiple recipe books, although they can only be opened with the Regi Dean's Recipe program. Users can download additional recipes from an online database. Additional tools include a shopping list that lets users quickly create an ingredient list and print it out. More advanced cooks may find this tool too simple, but others may like the fact that it's free.
