Card Collector Game Maker has a sparse, unfriendly interface, and while it's fairly easy to add a card set, designing the card's layout is a bit more complex. You edit the card's layout by defining and ordering attributes such as ID, name, and type, and you can add text or images, though it isn't immediately clear how to begin. There are a few backgrounds included, but you can add image files to create your own. Though it has an option to use a template, none are included with the program. The option to export the cards into image files is locked in the trial version, and Card Collector Game Maker doesn't have a print option. This isn't for the novice user, and advanced users won't be able to use the cards they create until they register the software.
