It quickly stores recipes and manages grocery lists, and the tabbed interface offers several tools, including a grocery list manager and a recipe organizer. Recipes go into multiple cookbooks featuring detailed information on ingredients, preparation, and nutrition. Users can download additional cookbooks or import recipes in Meal-Master (MMF), TXT, and HTML formats. They also can share recipes with the free Shop'NCook Cookbook Reader. Given a recipe and a number of servings, the program can calculate nutritional content and the amount of ingredients required. The handy shopping list includes nonfood categories, such as cleaning supplies and personal care, and you can print the list to take along. The downside? The trial version limits cookbooks to 20 new recipe entries. Otherwise, Shop'NCook makes planning meals and organizing shopping trips a snap.
