Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffMarch 4, 2011We are of the humble opinion that Mystic Board publishes some of the worst software available on Download.com; they are almost without exception poorly designed and utterly useless. Nonetheless, we always try to approach each program with an open mind and a positive attitude. So we did with MB Dream, but to no avail. If anything, this program is one of the worst of the worst, and that's saying something.MB Dream bills itself as three programs in one, containing sections for Dream Interpretation, Dream Dictionary, and Inner Dreams Number. We started with Dream Interpretation, which is set up in a diary format. Users are supposed to record their dreams and then hit the Analyze button, which will (supposedly) pick up on important keywords within the dream and provide users with an interpretation of the dream's hidden meanings. Every time we tried this feature, we got the hourglass icon; we eventually had to forcibly shut the program down. The Dream Dictionary didn't fare much better; instead of providing definitions, it insisted that we needed to be connected to the Internet in order for the program to work, even though we most definitely were connected. Finally, we had some success (if you want to call it that) with the Inner Dream Numbers. For this feature we entered our name and birth date, and the program informed us that our Dream Number was 5 and gave us a few vague sentences summing up our personality. Overall, this program is awful, from its ad-riddled interface and online Help file to its nonfunctioning features.MB Dream is free. The program installs a desktop icon without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We do not recommend this program.
