Sharing: IDrive enables you to send files via email. It opens up a Web app where you can browse shared directories, from which you can then directly download files. It's a common approach that's similar to many other file-sharing services.Multiplatform: IDrive has a consistent experience across Windows and Mac clients, making it easy to jump between operating systems and keep your files.ConsEase of use: IDrive has a lot of power set features but still doesn't match the ease of use of similar apps, like Dropbox. Though it's definitely not as complex as more advanced backup applications, like Acronis, IDrive does require exploration if you want to take full advantage of features like syncing.Offset guides: Certain elements seem out of place and unpolished, such as uncentered descriptions and the occasional visual help description that doesn't point where it should.Sync: The app offers unclear direction on how to add syncing on multiple devices. There are no breadcrumbs or links to the App Store. Bottom LineIDrive provides ample storage for most common needs. It may not be the prettiest or most flashy storage option on the block, but IDrive's multiplatform compatibility and generous storage space outweigh the minor design quirks.
